Parent-Teacher Ministry
What is the Parent-Teacher Ministry all about?
The PTM is comprised of Trinity Christian School parents who enjoy working together to create community for one another and to support the school in many ways. The goals of PTM are to:
- Promote the mission of the school
- Foster community
- Raise funds to enrich the school curriculum beyond the school budget
- Facilitate communication among the parents, administration and school board
- Identify opportunities for parent participation in the school
- Provide social gatherings (with and without children)
- Recognize faculty effort
- Give gifts to the school
How do we enrich the school?
The PTM Board, as representatives of the parent body, works to strengthen communication and cooperation between parents and the school.
The PTM raises funds from a variety of events throughout the year. Funds are used for special gifts to the school as determined by the PTM Board.
The PTM builds community by hosting the beginning of the year Jump-Start Picnic, sponsoring a Teacher Luncheon and hosting Family Fun Nights.
The PTM fosters fellowship by hosting the Thanksgiving Luncheon, serving refreshments at events like Grandparents' Day and Field Day.
The PTM ministers to teachers and staff by providing teachers a “free” day off at Christmas time, preparing meals through the Teacher Meals and Teacher Treats Programs and sponsoring a schoolwide Teacher Appreciation Week.

Uniform Closet
The Uniform Closet is a resource available to TCS families in need of uniforms. We have sizes from 4T all the way through adult sizes. The clothes that can be found down there consist of red, white, and light blue polos (short and longed sleeved), shorts, pants, skirts, girls’ jumpers, sweaters and sweatshirts (the preapproved uniform ones), and also a variety of spirit gear.
Anyone can do down there and “shop” and take as much as they want. Then they can return anything they don’t need or that their child has outgrown (as long as it is still in good condition) and put it in the uniform donation bin outside of the office next to lost and found. Everything down there is FREE!
The Uniform Closet would not be possible without donations and volunteers. Interested in volunteering? Check out all of our volunteer opportunities here.
