This is Ann's first year at TCS.
Her favorite thing about working at TCS is that she can talk freely about Jesus. She is one of the first people the children see and she wants them to hear about how much Jesus loves them!
Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13,
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,"
because it helps her through difficult times.
Gwendolyn has been at TCS for five years.
Her favorite thing about working at TCS is spending time with the preschoolers and giving them an opportunity to be active, creative, and the freedom to play and have fun before school starts.
Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11,
"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future,'"
because it reminds her that God has a plan for our lives. God promises that He has a plan to prosper us in the midst of our current situation. We as Christians facing difficult situations today can take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 knowing that it is not a promise to immediately rescue us from hardship or suffering, but rather a promise that God has a plan for our lives and regardless of our current situation, He can work through it to prosper us and give us a hope and a future.
This is Lynn's first year at TCS.
Her favorite thing about working at TCS is the warmth and encouragement she receives from her fellow staff members.
Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6,
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight,"
because it is such a great reminder that God is good, sovereign, and truly knows what is best for her!
