Arts at TCS
Art Classes
Art is one of our "Specials" classes that all students from Kindergarten to 5th Grade take. Students learn about different art styles and influences through thematic projects and hands-on creating. Student artwork is displayed around the hallways of the school year-round, in addition to a special Art Show each semester!
Your students' artwork can be viewed online at Artsonia. You can watch your child's talent grow from year to year and purchase custom gifts with their artwork on them! 20% of custom gift purchases support your child's art program here at TCS.
Extracurricular Arts
We offer several extracurricular arts opportunities, including art electives in middle school, vocal worship, dance, and theatrical performances.
Ribbon Dance is an opportunity to allow 4th and 5th grade girls to lead the student body in worship through the gift of dance. Ribbon Dancers are taught to use their gifts and talents for God's glory. The Ribbon Dancers perform during one of our school chapels each year.
Check out their latest performance here!
If you have any questions about Ribbon Dance, please feel free to contact Miss Bekermeier at kbekermeier@trinitychristian.info.
HeartSong is an elective class available to 7th and 8th grade students. HeartSong students are not only taught how to sing; they are taught how to lead through worship.
Throughout the semester, students grow more confident in their ability to sing, their stage presence, and in their ability to engage the student body in song.
If you are interested in HeartSong or have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Downing at tdowning@trinitychristian.info.

Any 5th-8th grade student has the opportunity to participate in our spring musical. The musical is an extracurricular activity with practices after school 2–4 times a week.
Auditions take place at the end of January and performances are in the beginning of May. Any student that auditions will be a part of the cast, and there are also opportunities for students to work behind-the-scenes on stage crew.
Students interested in being a part of the musical will receive information at the beginning of January.
Past musicals include Mary Poppins, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, and The Little Mermaid!
