Deanne Bekermeier has been at TCS for 5 years.
Her favorite thing about working at TCS is she loves knowing the foundation of faith and academic excellence that is being built for each student. She loves the mission and vision of the school and how that same mission has continued for 28 years.
Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 121:1
"My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven and Earth. Indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep, the sun will not harm you by day nor the moon by night. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore,"
because it reminds her that apart from God she can do nothing. it also reveals so many of God's attributes and paints the picture of how near He is and how deeply He loves us!

Her favorite thing about working at TCS is the families. Whether student families or staff families, we all come together as one to support each other, pray for each other, and grow students to love Christ.
Her favorite Bible verse is Mark 2:17,
"On hearing this, Jesus said to them, 'it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners,'" because it shows that Jesus cares about us even when we are messed up.

Her favorite thing about working at TCS is not only being able to pour into a student and invest in them academically, but also showing them that they are truly loved by their Savior.
Her favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:23,
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not human masters,"
because this verse has always been a go-to of hers and one that she always shares with her ribbon dancers. The "whatever you do" can be dance, teaching, leading others, and more. It is an encouragement and command to give glory to Christ in all you do.

Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28,
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose," because it's a promise for all believers that God will use everything (what we deem good or bad) for our good. She finds that very comforting and it gives her assurance that she is able to trust her God no matter what happens.

Her favorite thing about working at TCS is the blessing it is to work with other Christians who ultimately have the same goal for all who come into our building, equipping our children and each other to deal with the challenges of living in this world.
Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13,
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,"

Jack Hayward has been at TCS for one year.
His favorite thing about working at TCS is seeing staff use their gifts to influence and inspire the next generation to use their gifts to build the Kingdom of God in their own unique ways.
His favorite Bible verse is John 11:35,
because it's a reminder that Jesus is not some distant deity; he's intimately familiar with the human experience and there is nowhere in life he could go that Jesus hasn't been and nothing he could go through that Jesus hasn't endured. That Jesus would take on humanity willingly so that he could better relate to us is the proof in action of his love for us.
