Assistant to the Preschool Director
Trinity Christian Preschool is seeking a full time qualified candidate to fulfill the role of Assistant to the Preschool Director. This position aids the Preschool Director in the overall administration of the preschool. The assistant is responsible for but not limited to; organizing student files, preschool admissions, assistance in subbing, organizing programs, computer filing, preparing notifications and communicating with parents in a variety of ways. This position reports directly to the Preschool Director. A bachelor’s degree and experience in the educational field is preferred.
Full-Time Elementary School Physical Education Teacher
We are seeking a full-time dynamic Elementary School Physical Education teacher for the 2018-2019 school year. Qualified candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree and an up-to-date teaching certification with a Physical Education endorsement preferred but not mandatory. The teacher must believe that the Bible is God's Word and must be in agreement with Trinity Christian School's mission and philosophy of education. The teacher will need to plan instruction and develop lesson plans for physical education units following approved standards.
Full-Time Kindergarten Teacher
We are looking for an enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to foster and facilitate the spiritual, academic and social development of our full-day kindergarten students. This opening is a self-contained full-day kindergarten class in which the teacher is responsible for teaching the core subjects. Teaching kindergarten includes planning, implementing and assessing lessons. Kindergarten Teacher duties include designing a teaching plan and using activities and instructional methods to motivate children. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and a current teaching certification. The teacher must believe that the Bible is God's Word and standard for faith and daily living and must be in agreement with Trinity Christian School's mission and philosophy of education.
Part-Time Learning Center Coordinator/Resource Teacher
We are seeking a part-time resource teacher for grades K-8. Qualified candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in special education, and an up-to-date Illinois teaching certificate. Candidates must believe wholeheartedly that every child has God-given talents and challenges and must be capable of helping students grow those talents and learn to overcome or limit their challenges. Responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to, overseeing any resource teacher aides; working with students one-on-one and in small group settings; identifying student strengths/weaknesses in order to maximize their full potential; assessing students’ performance levels and determining the best action plan; coordinating services with classroom teachers, Troy School District, various high schools and private service providers; assist in developing and maintaining ISP’s and writing 504 Plans. Knowledge and experience with RTI, progress monitoring and benchmarking are preferred.

We are looking for two individuals to fill the roles of K3 and K4 Preschool Lead Teachers. Hours for these positions are 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
